I was looking for one of these lights because I live in a place where scorpions pop up in our house from time to time. I don't like scorpions and I heard that scorpions glow yellow under ultraviolet light so I had to give it a try. This light did not disappoint! First, the lantern is made of durable metal, so it won't break if you drop it. It takes a few AA batteries, but since these are LED lights, you don't need to change batteries often. The thing is very bright, lit up the whole yard and showed me exactly what's crawling in my yard. A minute after turning on this light, I found my first scorpion. Mission accomplished! I love this light, I use it all the time and because it is such good quality I will probably never have to replace it.
