SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been using Cortex steamers for many years. They have degraded in quality over the last few years and I had to replace them within a year as the oil reservoir came loose from the straightener. This is the only straightener on the market that draws oil into my hair while straightening, so I decided to give it another try and this time it wasn't the oil reservoir that broke, it was the thermostat. I found out the problem when part of my hair was burned. It's been a little over a month since I bought it! I had a warranty so I emailed the company many times (they do NOT have a contact phone number) but 3 months later I still have not received a reply. Your guarantee is only valid for 90 days. 🤔 If this is their approach to customer service, then they are SCAM. In my experience, I've seen many reviews of their products collapse within a few months of use. BEWARE
