The cord between my old power supply and the chair got crushed in the chair rocker, apparently shorting and it took out the power supply. I bought this power supply knowing it wasn't the exact replacement for my Lazy Boy recliner. The original power supply had a 5 or 6 pin connector where it connected to the chair. If anyone can find one of those, do us all a favor and share a link. Even though it had a multi pin connector, there were only 2 wires in the cable. I cut the old cable at the break and rigged up a temporary 2 prong plug that work with this new power supply. The chair works great. At first, I had the wires reversed so the up buttons were down and the down buttons were up. After switching the wires, the chair now works like it is suppose to. I have two of these chairs so I did a full recline speed test between the chair with this new power the supply and the one with the original supply and they were both the same speed. I will probably cut the connector off of this new power supply and splice the old cord end wire to wire now that I know it works. One little side note, the original power supply box is a larger than this new one, probably just because the original had a 9 volt battery backup where this new one doesn't. So if the the chair is reclined and we have a power outage, the chair will be stuck in the reclined position. That's not a big deal for me. But if it were, I have a second chair I could borrow the power supply from to lower the chair.
