Review on NuBrilliance Beauty Breeze Mirror: Lighted 5X Magnification Makeup and Shaving Mirror with Built-in Fan - As Seen On TV by Lisa Couture

Revainrating 4 out of 5

As seen on TV worth $20 not a dollar more

I bought this mirror elsewhere for a lower price but its definitely worth $20. I wouldn't pay a dollar more. Cons: - Plugging in the mirror (micro USB) instead of a rechargeable or regular cable would have been inconvenient for me. AA batteries can also be used, but the screw cap on the battery connector doesn't hold up well when the tray is attached to the fan. So the batteries are gone. The included magnifying mirror looks and feels cheap. I do not use it. I use my power supply on the back of the base. This helps offset the imbalance of the (heavy) weight of the mirror itself compared to the weight of the tray's base. The neck and base offer very little support. It's so heavy that when it's flipped up, the mirror falls forward, spilling it all onto the tray. And is difficult. I'm surprised I haven't broken mine yet. This is the main reason it costs $20 max. Positive aspects: - The main mirror does not distort the image. That is very clear. The ring light isn't an eye-burning white LED, it's a cool white color with a blue tint. It's not the brightest makeup/vanity lamp I've used, but it's brighter and better than some others I've used. The fan function was the main reason for the purchase. There are 2 modes: low and high. They are slightly lower than a small home fan. Perfect for warm weather or as a facial drying/setting spray. It blows around the ring of light so my eyes don't dry out - I also like the choice of putting it on the base or taking it off and holding it instead.

Pros
  • PROFESSIONAL SCALE MIRROR
Cons
  • Band
