I've ridden 50 miles in my new Switchback Iso and am very impressed. These shoes don't have the usual plate on the outsole to protect against sharper rocks, which was a concern for me, but for all but the most technical, unkempt. Trails, these shoes can handle it. The lacing wheel seems useless but actually saves a lot of time and the ratcheting sound is reassuring. I overtightened them on my left foot during a run which caused foot discomfort, but I attribute that to user error. Compared to previous trail running shoes, the toe box is wide enough to make me feel very comfortable. Thumbs up!
