Attention buyers. This "Shure" isn't for long. I bought this last year to mike my tenor banjo for concerts and it was only good for one night. Yes, an achievement, and then kaput! I plugged it back in for the next show and there was no signal. Luckily there was a home mic I could use otherwise I would have been in the creek. I've always been wary of it because I know it's not something to throw around. One look at the unboxing and you can immediately see that the flimsy cable is clearly too fragile to last long (especially when plugged into a 1lb XLR connector - seriously, who designed this thing!) . and as I feared, .just .died. I would not trust this as a working microphone. Should have just received a tried and true SM57. Lesson learned. and money is lost.
