SUCCESS! I'm sooo happy! I bought this cat bed with window sill extension because my Catalina loves to lay out in the sun on a 4 inch window sill with her back drooping about 3 inches. Last week she fell asleep in a second. It was scary to watch, and it happened so fast that even though I was sitting next to her and working on the computer, I couldn't do anything about it. A moment later she was slammed sideways on the floor in the same position she had been sleeping in and there was a metal skirting board with a sharp edge! (It's a myth that cats always land on their feet.) She was fine, but I immediately sought a solution from Chewie and Revane and found it with Revane. Chewy has it too, but it's already sold out. The sticky Velcro strips are sticky enough to remove paint but not strong enough to stay on. I threw them away and used the three screws that came with it, which was very easy. You just drill a small hole to start them. She didn't want anything to do with the new bed for three days and was very upset that I took the bed away from her. I sprayed the bed with catnip spray and placed the pieces on it, forcing her to at least put her paws on the pillow to get to the piece and let her know that good things were happening to it. I can use plastic anchors for extra stability. I love that it has a bolster that zips up on either side. That should help her stay awake again!
