Review on Bingfu Waterproof T Mobile Cellular Amplifier by Bob Berry

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Might work for some people in certain areas but not for me

We're pretty close to a T-Mobile cell tower, but there are some big hills and we're on the back of one of the hills. Plus lots of trees between the tower and our house. I was hoping based on some good reviews that this antenna would help. But because the antenna was mounted on a 10-foot pole outside of our RV, the signal was worse than the flat antennas on the cellular gateway. I got less than 1 Mbps on a speed test with this antenna, but with the flat antennas and raising the gateway about 8 feet off the ground in the RV, I got 3 to 4 Mbps consistently. Just getting to the other side of the hill will give you about 10Mbps, but at 3-4 it's serviceable. So if this antenna mounted outside the RV at a 10ft height can deliver at least 3-4Mbps at that location then that would be a win but unfortunately that doesn't seem possible. Tomorrow I'll test it again but if it still has terrible performance I'll have to return it and keep looking. a solution that works reliably for as long as possible. However, depending on your location and signal strength, it may work well for you. It seems well built.
