So I've just received my 30 liter BougeRv Fridge Freezer and I'm very happy with it. I went back and forth to get this fridge but ended up pulling the trigger. I take my kids on shore excursions and hate messing with ice cream so I looked at a lot of different options. BougeRv isn't the only company selling inexpensive portable refrigerators, so I looked at a few options. It eventually got to the point that I have bought from them before, I have a number of crossbars and when I had to deal with customer support it was a pleasant experience. It is important to me when I go shopping. The fridge has arrived and I have to say they are serious about the packaging. It came in three boxes and was then lined tightly with foam. As soon as I unpacked it, I was very pleased with the feel of the fridge. Doesn't look cheap at all. It's a good weight and the door seems to seal really well when you close it. The display is good, nothing supernatural and the plugs seem to be of good quality, I also really like that the compressor has a 2 year guarantee. The fridge has two modes, Max and Eco, depending on whether you want to cool it down quickly or just keep it warm. It also has a very important feature that you have 3 levels of battery protection. This is very important to us as we take our Cherokee on camping trips and to the shore. Battery protection allows you to set your refrigerator to turn off automatically when it detects that your vehicle's battery is getting low. That way you don't wake up and your fridge drains your battery to the point where you can't start your car. I leave the fridge upright overnight before turning it on because he recommends leaving it 12 hours after delivery. I wanted to see how long it would take to cool down. The temperature started at 64 degrees Fahrenheit and I adjusted it to 39 degrees. Cooling took 17 minutes. Faster than I expected. The last thing I tried was to see what I could put in there. I was surprised how much I could fit in. I was able to fit 5 bottles of water, 1 64oz juice bottle, 3 Kool Aid mufflers, 3 packs of Yoohoo drinks, 1 pack of sliced cheese, 1 pack of luncheon meats, 1 pack of bologna, 1 block of cheese. 1 pack of striped cheese (30 pieces) and 3 lunches. I still had free disk space. We are a family of 5 so this will be a real burden for us. My first thoughts on the fridge were that this is exactly what I wanted. Of course we'll have to see how long that lasts and if I have any problems moving forward. It doesn't have any frills like the ability to control it from your phone, but I don't care. I would have no hesitation in recommending this fridge to friends and family.
