I received the package this morning and immediately set about putting the protective film on it. I have installed dozens of screen protectors on many different electronic products. As a rule of thumb, the larger the screen, the more difficult it is to install, especially with protective glass. I have often broken the protective glass trying to get the last bubble or lint out. This time I followed all the instructions, right down to removing the plastic cover. I gently placed the screen protector on the screen, holding one side with the guide stickers, and lightly touching the center of the screen protector with my finger. Then I got up to get a credit card to remove the blisters. When I got up I noticed that the protective film was attached to the screen. When I came back, the screen protector was attached to the screen with only four air bubbles near the top edge of the screen. I didn't need a credit card, I used my finger to squeeze out air bubbles and the job was done. Not a single air bubble or lint under the tread. This alone is worth the price of the product. So far the tread hasn't attracted any dirt or oil stains from my fingers. Using a pencil still feels like writing on glass, but that's to be expected. I wish they had a screen protector like this with a matte finish, but that's just my preference. I'll update my post if things change over the next few months.
