I received two separate parts that together make a complete driver's side mirror assembly. The largest part with mirror and motor was packed in a cloth bag to avoid scratching. The skullcap or paintable outer shell was packaged in a separate foam bag. Perfect! I wasn't sure how well this driver's side mirror would fit my car, but it turned out to be better than my car's mirror that was provided by the body shop for a previous collision (my wife did it). that's twice!). My only concern was that the existing painted skullcap of the broken mirror on my car might not match the new mirror assembly and I would have to get a new paint finish to match my car. I was able to easily attach my old painted skullcap from the broken mirror knot to the new knot. One of the plastic clips on my old skullcap broke so I used epoxy from JB Weld to securely attach the old skullcap to the new mirror assembly. My old skullcap DEFINITELY didn't fit in the new mirror, but it was "close enough to work in government." To be honest, my old painted skullcap was not a genuine Nissan part, so it's entirely possible that the original Nissan skullcap was a perfect match for the new mirror assembly. The build quality of the new mirror was impeccable - at least as good if not better than the original Nissan part. If your existing skullcap is broken and you don't want to spend money to paint a new skullcap to match your car, you can just buy both a new driver's side mirror and a new passenger's side mirror and then both would be black, but at least they would match. At 40 hryvnia apiece, it's a good deal and a lot cheaper than 150-200+ greens for a portion of a steal.
