Keyboard keys and mouse buttons are soft and quiet overall. Mouse button clicks sound dull but are responsive not loud clicking like most mice. Mouse and keyboard both rechargeable with same charging cable that came with set. Both mouse and keyboard have power switches to turn on and off for use. Mouse has the usb do Glen in it for the set but it's exposed on the outside not hidden in a compartment like portable Mouses which tells me this isn't meant to be a portable set even if it can turn off. Charging cable usb tip to usb-c tip is about 32.5 inches long. Flexible cable part is about 29.5 inches. Keyboard of twisted is pretty flimsy, traveling with it I would expect it to break. In testing I didn't get the backlight to come on but I also didn't have it connected to a computer but did have it charging. The devices were left on so both keyboard and mouse need to be charged to continue my testing and update with functionality and backlight images.
