Seems solid but not what was expected.
This belt is very wide, about 1 1/2 inches. It works with jeans but is too bulky for khakis etc. I also bought a dark brown. At first I thought it was the wrong color. sent, it turned out to be black. On closer inspection in bright light it is dark brown, so VERY dark brown.
