This was the only reasonable solution available when I placed my order. It had about 10 reviews, none of which were below 3. Now I see 20% in one star, so the sample size is a small population with one star rating growth. The microphone is so weak that it cannot be heard either during recording or during conversations. If you call directly into the camera from a foot away, the sound is barely audible and very muffled. It seems the approach to noise reduction was to reject all inputs above 200Hz. This makes the microphone unusable. Shipping was also VERY slow, taking almost a week to get from New Jersey.
