I just bought a new Ninja Foodi with Smartlid model #OL601. I bought these rings because the ninja facebook group recommended them as a replacement for ninja rings. They fit perfectly and are actually a bit easier to fit than the OEM ring that comes with Foodi. However, I don't think they are the same as the OEM ring. First, the OEM ring is much stiffer and feels heavier than these rings, which feel softer and not as heavy. You need to make sure you installed the rings correctly (OEM or those replacement parts). You know the ring is properly seated when the metal rod is squarely in the middle of the silicone ring, and you can move the ring in any direction once seated. If you can't move the ring, part of it isn't fully centered. That's how I know when the ring is right. This happened when I first used the spare ring. I used the air fry function, then the steam and crisp function, then the air fry function to cook 3 different dishes. The replacement ring was fine during the first air fry, and then as I continued to use my food the ring began to shift and move so that it was no longer centered all around. As a result, the smart cover could not be closed completely. The device still worked because the smart lid made enough contact for it to still work, but I could tell the lid wasn't fully closed. When I have an OEM ring installed, the ring does NOT move or move no matter how many times I use it. I think it's because, as I said, the original ring is much stiffer and should be heavier (i.e. thicker) than the replacement ring. It's also a lot harder to install than a replacement ring so it really does fit/seal. In summary, the interchangeable ring is suitable if you are only air frying, braising, steaming or using any other function that doesn't require you to seal the unit, but be aware that the interchangeable ring will move during cooking, so if you find it that you cannot close the smart lid halfway through cooking, stop the machine, check the ring and slide the ring back so that it is centered under the metal ring. I would NOT use these replacement rings if you are pressure cooking. I don't think you will get a real seal. So keep the pressure cooking OEM ring.
