Review on πŸ”Œ 2007-2017 Lincoln Navigator Ford Expedition Front Left Driver Side Power Window Regulator with Motor - 2-Pin Plug (No Anti-Pinch) by Michael Wehrman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great value for money but don't buy the motor as a kit; engine does not fit.

Passenger side window didn't go up once so I knew I had to replace the regulator. I installed this on a 2010 Lincoln Navigator. The part fit well and was easy to assemble, but one note, don't waste your money on a motorized model. The Navigator has a box with a microprocessor on the original engine that cannot be installed on the engine that comes with this ESC. For this reason, the connection with the original wiring harness to the truck does not work when the engine is running. I removed the new motor from the ESC and replaced it with my original motor and it now works perfectly. All in all, $85 and an hour and a half of my time is way better than what the dealer is asking for this job! There are some pretty good videos on YouTube on replacing this part if you need them, but it's not difficult.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • poorly thought out
