That's exactly what I had in mind when I ordered my sister's birthday invitations. I wish they came with envelopes but for the price they are still very good value. I needed about 30-35 invites and it made more sense to order this pack of 50 than 2 packs of invites from other retailers who usually have 20 per pack. They are made of heavy paper and are very easy to write on - I chose 2 fine-tipped markers in orange and light blue to match the print. This makes it possible to use an empty shirt as a postcard and save on postage. I decided to buy a pack of envelopes for less than $2 at my local WalMart and mailed them in instead. I paired them with an insert encouraging guests to "bring a book instead of a postcard," which I also purchased from Revain. I used the 'details' section below to write information to reply to the invite, you can also use the reverse side to write more details/directions etc. Very happy with the purchase.
