I was upset when I realized my new Xbox Series X didn't have an optical port. This meant I was no longer able to use my favorite Astro A50 headset. I've spent a few hours browsing the internet and found that people have successfully used Audio Extractors as a workaround for Xbox Series X. This particular product has been recommended the most as it supports 4k resolution and 60Hz frame rate. Just make sure you have at least 2 Ultra High Speed HDMI.1 cables on hand. An HDMI cable comes from the Xbox Series X and connects to the Audio Extractor (HDMI IN).2. Another HDMI cable goes from the Audio Extractor (HDMI OUT) to the TV/monitor.3.
