Review on πŸ–ŠοΈ Pack of 10 Replaceable Mesh Fiber Tips (0.27 Inches / 7mm) for ChaoQ Stylus Pen by Ken Lawson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Much smoother than a regular rubber tip! So far very satisfied.

I bought these tips to replace the pencil-shaped pen I got at Wal-Mart. I had already replaced the original tip with another rubber tip that felt thicker so it didn't break like the original. However, getting my phone to respond to the rubber tip can be frustrating at times (there are even times when I have a hard time getting my phone to respond to my finger). When I first learned about net spikes, I was fascinated. They seem to get generally good reviews regardless of the brand. I chose them because they had the lowest price for most replacement tips (mesh fiber tips have simpler rubber replacements for the same price). These attachments just slide across my phone screen! No more rubber tips "sticking" to the surface when trying to move cards in Solitaire! are they perfect no Sometimes I have to tap a few times for my phone to sense the action. However, it requires fewer clicks than a rubber tip and appears to require less pressure than rubber tips. These tips also seem to be the best for "flicking" motion when doing things like turning off your phone or waking up from sleep. Full Disclosure of Information; I just got them today so can't speak to durability yet, but they seem thicker than my pen's original cheap tip, which blew a hole in just a day (at least the rubber core seems thicker, the metal mesh is pretty thin). ). But I expect it to last at least as long as a standard rubber tip. Maybe even a little longer as they seem to slow down as they move around the screen. My only real complaint is the color. The light color of the grid doesn't feel like a pencil lead, more like a black rubber tip, which ruins the aesthetic of my pencil-style pen. But I can say that I really like the functionality of these interchangeable earplugs (at least I think that's more important than the look). If you're frustrated with the rubber-tipped pen, I would suggest trying these as a replacement. Just make sure to check the size before ordering as they come in 8mm and 7mm OD. My original nib was about 9/32", so I chose the 7mm. I edit to include a photo of the pen I used one of these nibs on. It was a set labeled "Children's Pens" at Wal- Mart. The "pencil" tip was very thin rubber and broke easily. I replaced it with a pen and stylus tip combo which was better than the original but only in terms of durability. So searched I'm looking for replacement nibs. Yes, you can buy cheap pens in multiple packages, but I've found that not all work equally well. For example, the "pencil" pen from the Wal-Mart set doesn't work that well (at least for me) like the original "pencil" tip, and they are made by the same company! Too bad I can't change the tip to "chalk". The original tip and the one I replaced it with, were originally standard black tips finished with an artificial en pencil effect looked better. These mesh fiber tips from ChaoQ work pretty well and like I said glide smoothly across my phone's screen. I just wish they were a darker color. While the original was black, even the darker gray would have looked good, and the faux pencil would have looked more pencil-ish. Okay, maybe the color thing is a bit picky. BTW, if you use them on a pen that doesn't have a detachable collar that runs along the edge of the tip, you may have problems with the grid. wears out over time. My stylus has enough indentation that I can insert the rubber and hook it with a small screwdriver.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • I have no complaints about it, everything is fine
