We've used this to clean a lot of pans and this is our attempt at removing dirt from our cast iron. They work well but rust, meaning they contain more iron than expected. Not a big deal if you take out a bunch of moisture and then put it in the dryer. They warp easily without keeping a nice round design, but that's not a problem. We use ours primarily on cast iron to remove dirt and anything else that may be needed and extra cleaning. Yes, they will easily remove your spices if you scrub hard enough, but they don't stick to things. We dry ours with cast iron after cleaning them and adding a new layer of spices. This generally eliminates the rust problem, but it's not something most people do. They did a very good job of taking a toasted pan and some toasted baking sheets and turning them back to the bright silver color they were originally. A good product to clear many jammed sheets including finding dead pans.
