Poor product, the quality is below average.

Well, this is a fiasco. My WD green, 10 years old, has 50k hours and absolutely clean SMART. Here the problems got out after 200 hours.
The SeaTools diagnostic program hides the SMART table quite cunningly. Type passed and everything, no decoding like the same CristalDiscInfo. That is, according to SeaTools, you will not understand whether the disk is pouring or not. Until all the space allotted for them is clogged with bads, the disk will be considered in a satisfactory condition.
On the other hand, VD now has this tiled record and it is not clear what to buy at all.
In general, prices are rising, quality is falling, the market decides.

Pros

The only thing that can be noted as positive is the work of technical support. They try to help, they go forward.

Cons

The disk itself, which is positioned as a server or for NAS, already after 200 hours of operation had 8 reassigned sectors. Plus constantly clanging sounds (heads?) I don't know. This is incredibly annoying.
