If you're skeptical like me and hate spending big bucks on products that don't work, look no further. This is the second training collar I've used on my dog. This is a 14 month old bird dog mix that is very active and energetic. The last collar I used cost almost twice as much as this one. The last collar didn't affect her the way this one did. This collar was recognized as the best collar. We live in a village and there are wild boar and deer in the yard and of course the dog loves to chase them. This collar kept her in place while she ran and chased a deer out of the yard. We mostly use the "Beep-Beep" feature and that's usually enough to get their attention. We used the drum part twice and it definitely caught their attention. The remote control is very easy to use and I love the "effective" distance you get with this collar. In addition, you get 2 collars, so changing clothes is very easy. It seemed that the last collar always died at the most inopportune moment. Now it doesn't matter because you can use one while the other loads. We spend an average of 5 to 6 days without charging the collar and leave it on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We've had the collars for about 2 months now and I don't regret the purchase.
