As an engineer, I have only so much contempt and distrust for the Kohler toilet designers who dreamed up this completely idiotic toilet attachment mechanism. The kit I received was missing an important part, a long pole to hold the existing anchor. in place while you try to remove the screw inside. This is after hours (yes!) of other attempts, as well as watching YouTube videos from other unlucky Kohler Rialto owners. I was about to buy and install a new toilet - I know it would have taken less time. The only good thing about this kit were the anchors and screws - I don't think I could have found the exact type locally. local hardware store. I'm giving it 3 stars simply because you need this kit to get the job done, but unless you're a mechanical engineer like me, consider hiring a plumber for a prearranged fixed fee and then listen to his curses.
