Stable, works as advertised, overall very satisfied. I'm a bit nervous about the shelf slipping over the legs of the horizontal frame and may have to partially drill through the bottom of the shelf to avoid this problem. I use a turntable dust cover (which is left open while playing) so the shelf moves when opening and closing. I would be nervous if my son's friends tried to use it.
