I'm tired of how easy it is to lose flash drives and the relatively high cost of larger drives. So I needed something portable with lots of data and big enough that it wouldn't be easy to lose it. I have stacks of SATA drives from old laptops at work so thought I'd give it a try. I installed a 500GB WD Cavier Black and it works great. I actually bought another one to keep at the office so I can easily recover data from old drives. The package was crushed upon arrival but as it is silicone and conforms to the specs there was no damage. per:cheap; small enough to fit in your pocket but big enough not to get lost; easy handling: could be a bit tighter; The controller will get a little warm after long-term use.
