They have a small tab at the top with a velcro closure that closes the top to keep your glasses from falling out when you take off your shirt or put it on. This seems to be the main advantage these cases have over other inexpensive glasses cases. (I use various glasses cases as bag protectors to keep pens and such in another bag, this item doesn't work for that purpose.) Why not 5*? because I just got them and it takes me a week or more to get used to something new like this. But I am happy.
