The case has all the features I was looking for: a full view of the iPad screen, easy opening and closing, and the ability to place the iPad at different angles in landscape mode . . I didn't give it five stars for two reasons: The case only allows the iPad to stay in landscape mode in two angles (instead of the three angles shown on other products; I didn't see that when I ordered it ) and Removing the iPad from the case (e.g. to place it on a stand) requires a lot of hand strength and there is no easy way to grab the iPad to pull it out. Can't comment on longevity as I've only been using it for 3 weeks.
