Review on ACTIVA Activ Wire Mesh Sheet Large by Denise Davis

I saw someone ask a question about using this for a hamster trash cage and yes you could make mesh out of this for a lid! I have two hamster cages that I made from this mesh using just duct tape. Holds up very well. Just a pity it wasn't folded as it looks a bit ugly with all the folds. However, since this net is very easy to cut with regular household scissors, I wouldn't recommend it unless your hamster can actually climb onto the real top and start chewing on it to get out. Never had a problem with it though, not sure a hamster would even be able to get up there to start chewing. Also, a little warning that the ends of the wire will be very sharp if you end up cutting off a few pieces.
