Was very excited about this order at first. Charging station, 4 large capacity battery packs, this is not to like. I had never looked at my Wii's power connector before, so I was surprised too. Confused by the lack of a power adapter. Then I realized the charging station had to be the scavenger from the power cord to the Wii. The first reaction was excitement. After placing 2 battery packs in the Wii controllers, placing them in the charging station, and then placing 2 spare batteries in the charging station, I was pleased to see 4 red lights glowing. I let the controllers and batteries charge for 3 days before my grandson came to visit. I showed him the docking station, new batteries and let him set up the system for a day of fun. Within 5 minutes, one of the controllers showed it was empty while the other dropped to 2 bars (up from 4 when fully charged). I put the (discharged) battery back in the charger and put the backup in the Wii controller. The indicator alternated between 4 and 3 bars before stopping at 3 bars. Luckily the 2 bar battery and 3 bar battery lasted a few games before I had to pack for the trip. I'll get a full picture of battery performance when I get home. However, my initial experience is incredibly disappointing. If this was purchased for personal use I would just make a few unkind remarks and move on. But since it was a purchase to entertain my grandson, I'm pissed and pissed. Please consider if the price you are paying for this device is worth buying 1 or 2 working batteries.
