Because you have 4 wheels you can keep the wheel in your gym bag, climbing bag, first aid kit and anywhere you need it. Wrapping the hands and fingers is the primary use, but I've had impromptu bandages with this tape on many occasions, as well as closed areas prone to chafing to protect skin from chafing (like heels when hiking).
