I bought these hangers for my jackets. I thought they were wide and long enough to fit in my jackets. As for the width of the shoulders, I think they should be a bit wider. As for the total length from end to end. I was disappointed with these hangers. I'm slightly taller at 6'5" and between 230 and 240 pounds. These hangers don't go far enough (to the bottom of the shoulder). However, I'm sure they will for some (or most). , but in my particular case I need to find something longer.UPDATE: The organization that sells these hangers contacted me and offered a refund.I accepted the offer but they never kept their word so I can use their hangers and do not recommend the dealer who sold them.
