I've traveled across Europe using this backpack, and it is probably the best backpack I've ever owned! I did a 5 day trip to Germany and Croatia using only this backpack, and fit everything I needed. Easy for hauling camera equipment, my laptop, chargers and lenses, tripods, etc. The waterproof cover is a plus, and has saved my equipment multiple times in the rainy European weather. A couple of tips I have:- If you're not carrying a laptop, you can easily use the laptop compartment to store clothing. The compartment is expandable, and I was able to store a pair of jeans, three t-shirts, underwear, and socks. Only downside is that it bulges out on your back a little, but it's worth it.- The camera compartment can also be used to store clothing if you're not taking your camera.- This bag will fit overhead compartments on airplanes, so it makes for a great carry-on bag.- The Velcro pads in the camera compartment can be removed or rearranged, so you have a lot of options for your camera and lenses.- You can also use this for school, as the laptop compartment can fit books and notebooks. Though don't expect to fit many.- The backpack is fairly durable, and you can fit a lot of weight in it without any problems. Occasionally the laptop compartment zipper will come undone if you have both zippers at the top, but that is easily fixed by moving them to one side or the other.
