I have used the dance function 3 times and so far so good! Couldn't believe how easy the packaging was and how easy the installation was. All you had to do was connect the console to the TV and a power outlet. The included HDMI cable was too short for my setup, so I replaced it with a longer one myself. I've never used a dance mat or played commercial dance machines, so this was new to me. It was easy to understand how it works and fun to bang rhythms and practice at the same time. I love it! I hope the rug is durable and will last a long time with heavy use. The time will show.
