Great locking feature
Although the pins are made of plastic, they are malleable and easily reproduce exact replica of what you need to cut. Good quality product. The width of the pins enable one to measure even deep corners. Along with the locking mechanism this makes it a really good buy, even though there are others cheaper. The locking mechanism alows movement of the gauge without worry of losing the shape to be cut. Thoroughly pleased with the quality, workmanship and the locking feature. Wish it came in a 20". I would certainly buy one of those as well
