After reading the reviews I had high hopes for this car mount. Living in a region where dashboard heat is an issue, I thought this phone mount solved my problem. After the car was in direct sunlight for an hour, the bracket fell off. When reattached after several attempts, the mount worked for about a week until the dashboard got hot while driving and the mount with the phone fell on the floor. After stopping I tried to attach it to the dashboard but it didn't help. ADD TO CART FOR THIS MOUNT - The search continues for a secure phone mount that won't let you down during the warmer summer months or when the sun is direct on your dashboard. Suction: Poor Adhesion: Poor Easy Installation: OK Installation is not difficult, but no installation instructions are included and some assembly is required. The result was an extra piece - for a different (vent) mount. Mounting the vent completely blocks the vent, which is not ideal in hot summers.
