I like the mount, it works, good quality and perfect for my needs. I use a tripod mount with a small pair of binoculars, mostly in a stationary position, to view hummingbirds. The Velcro allows you to apply the necessary force to fix the binoculars in place, and the rubber base at the connection of the binoculars to the mount offers additional protection against the binoculars slipping. I haven't had any issues with the tension on the strap causing my binoculars to come loose. I'm not sure how the mount will perform in a situation where the tripod needs to be moved around a lot. Happy with my purchase.
