First I have to tell you that I was amazed at the turnaround time on this one. I received mine in LESS THAN 24 HOURS! (NO JOKE!) I couldn't believe it! Secondly I've bought my fair share of refurbished parts over the years and even some of those that were advertised as new and then got into trouble had to open the case only to find I had been hacked! So I can say with some certainty that this is not the case. I didn't have to check but I don't see any red flags to suggest I was scammed on this starter! Unfortunately my praise should have ended here as my boat is protected and winterized for about a month or so. but so far i feel good. to be exact.
