Review on 🌸 Flower Ugears Puzzle Mechanism - A Brain-Teasing Mechanical Toy by David Perez

The concept of this product is great and I was looking forward to putting it together. I consider myself a good handyman and builder, but this thing didn't want to work for me at all. As mentioned, the pieces are extremely brittle and some pieces with thinner pieces have broken when trying to get them out of the molds. Even with laser cutting, the pieces don't fit together, and it often requires shaving with a knife or heavy pressure to get them to size. Some of the moving parts use toothpicks as a fulcrum and I'm not sure I'll trust their durability over time. After putting together about 2/3 of the project I ended up with 2 broken outer petals and gears that wouldn't spin at all. All in all a waste of money for me and I regret spending so much on it. If it was $20 or less it wouldn't be that bad, but for that price it should be a lot stronger and better made.
