I bought these for my daughter who at 9 has the most clumsy limbs and pops out of everyone's pants. It's hard to compensate for the length with something that won't fall off because it's so thin. Actually I bought 14-16 and although they are a bit big they don't gape at her waist and it's a perfect length. She also likes colors. The only thing that bothers me is the label. I cut off all the labels because she was annoying them. If the label were printed instead of the physical label that would be ideal.
