If everything is right, it's a good device. Very compact and handy. Unfortunately, quality control is poor. The first device I received had a faulty DisplayPort that caused vertical lines to appear on one side of my monitor. Ordered a replacement, same problem. I thought there might be another problem, but after spending two hours installing various drivers and troubleshooting, HP concluded that the problem was a bad dock. So watch out for quality issues. Luckily, Revain handles these issues very well, so I was able to get a full refund on both devices.
