On the recommendation of my dermatologist I looked for a shampoo with ketoconzaol. I was drawn to this product for the quality of its natural ingredients (biotin, saw palmetto, and caffeine). The dark packaging is very elegant and attractive to me which is a plus because for a man it has a masculine color scheme to match the rest of my hygiene products. You simply comb your hair before washing, wet it, lather it up and leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing it out. The smell of mint is like tap dancing lollipops on your head. I even feel a slight tingle as it penetrates my scalp which makes me feel like it's working. It doesn't lather very well so I probably end up using a little more than I need just to feel like I'm getting full scalp coverage. As a result, the hair is clean and fresh. When using this in combination with Minoxidil (aka Rogaine) I have definitely noticed new hair growth on my head. It's hard to say how much of the growth is due to the shampoo alone, but I feel like it plays an important role as I'm able to maintain darker, thicker hair than before. The price might be prohibitive for some, but if you only use it a few times a week like I do, you can certainly stretch it to make it worthwhile. I give it my seal of approval and will continue to use this shampoo on my hair restoration journey. Pros: Wonderful mint scent Contains ketoconazole (recommended by my dermatologist) Stylish and elegant packaging. Keeps my hair clean, soft and voluminous. Minoxidil for hair restoration. Cons: price. Doesn't lather well (after all you need to use more product to feel effective).
