After a short time, this fan failed, which eventually caused the pressure in the coolant expansion tank to become too high. The pressure in the tank caused a rupture and eventual loss of all coolant. Luckily it happened while parking and not in a traffic jam. The first sign of failure was warm air being blown through the vents when the air conditioning was turned on. The air only cools when driving fast, as it was a very hot day I figured I needed to cool down first. However, at the next traffic light, warming returned. When I started investigating, I found that the fan would not turn on. Before I could turn on the ignition to turn off the engine, the tank exploded. Luckily, I spent a few bucks more on the warranty Revain offered and got my original purchase price refunded for a better fan. Stay away from it unless you want to pay for towing and other expenses.
