Just a warning - they smell pretty strong out of the box. So if you don't like rubber soles that give off toxic fumes, give them time to air out or don't buy them. It's like a shoe store times 1000. Do I honestly expect them to last until he outgrows them in 6 months? Not really. Why am I keeping them and why 2 stars? Because they are attractive to a child, wear them with enthusiasm, and the intended owner is 3.5 years old and can put them on himself (which cannot be said of his keen, who have a similar design). I love that he can run in them and they don't seem to knock him over, which was a common problem with his Crocs. which he preferred because they were easy to put on yourself, which is not the case with his other shoes.
