Review on Pedag Sheepskin Nubuck Leather Textile by Anthony Flores

I was a little skeptical about this product and was afraid to use it on my Brooks Brothers black suede chukka field boots. I haven't heard of a cleaner with dye, somehow illogical. The brush is tiny and looks cheap. A larger brush would work better and faster. I didn't really need an eraser, but the shoes were a bit worn and the color was fading in places. I started cleaning my shoes with rubber bristles. Didn't do much. I then applied black paint/cleaner to a piece of cardboard and started working on one of the shoes. I find that working with unidirectional grain works best by starting with small strokes and then spreading them out. Otherwise the foam applicator will dry out. I worked on different areas at the same time, making sure the surface looked wet and level. The drying time was about 9 minutes. Using rubber bristles, I worked against the fibers to raise the surface. Each section went in a different direction, but I think there's a lot of leeway in using the brush here. In the end I think the cleaner and the paint job are working the way I hope. It looks restored and the suede feels updated. 10 times better than just cleaning. I would really only recommend the cleaner for those with black suede.
