Review on Enhance Your KitchenAid Experience with the New Metro Design KA-5L Original BeaterBlade for 5-Quart Bowl in White by Evan Zurlo

The blade says 'beater blade.com' and 'KA-5L' but this page directs you to 'newmerodesign.com'. I'm giving it one star because after successful use with my 5 Qt Rising Bowl Kitchen Mixer, a piece of the top plastic edge broke off when I was using it to mix cookie dough. It wasn't a particularly thick batter and the paddle was set correctly. I only hand washed it so I don't think the plastic was damaged in a hot dishwasher. Luckily no plastic made it into the dough itself, but this product is fairly cheaply made to break after such light use. Edited to say that after sending pictures of the cracked blade to the manufacturer (subway design) they promptly sent me a replacement.
