I have had 2 sets of these sheets for about four years and have not had the problems that other reviewers have had. It's either that, or I'm criminally stupid, or I'm just an idiot. Someone bought them for me off my wish list so I wouldn't miss anything. They're thin, which doesn't bother me. You are soft. very soft. Almost like cotton/satin, more in the direction of (thinner) cotton. And they stay cool, which I like. I confess I thought it was a higher thread count until I read some of the other reviews. now i'm not sure anymore. Seriously, I'm pretty sure it's the nerd talking; I love good soft sheets and because I like the feel of them I just thought they had more thread count. becomes thinner and eventually breaks. I'm sure there are better kits out there and if this company is indeed selling them under false pretenses they should be stopped. But to be honest, I wasn't really disappointed.
