I use this in my watch cases and other cases like ammo boxes to remove moisture from the air and reduce the risk of corrosion, rust, oxidation and/or mold growth. This is critical for sealed containers and non-vented crates. All three watches in the sealed tin have the crown pulled out, I always put a new watch in it for a few days to get as much moisture out of the movement as possible, and then store my watches in these boxes over a cushion of quartz balls. with elongated stems. I also use these little tea bags in my belt drawer and in all of my wife's jewelry drawers. Outstanding product!
