Very quiet and efficient. I've tried every allergy medicine when cedar pollen started picking up and my eyes/nose itchy, sneezing constantly and having trouble sleeping due to nasal congestion. Despite the extremely high pollen count (as reported in the news), my symptoms improved within 24 hours of using it in my bedroom. When the husband "digests" and there is little smoke, it will gain momentum and quickly remove the toxic air. I am considering buying another one for my kitchen.
