DO NOT BUY. it frys my hard drive AMAZON DOES NOT HELP

I bought this product 7 months ago. The power went out yesterday during a thunderstorm. Today my new $900 computer won't turn on. I took it to a repair shop and they said my hard drive burned out. They don't even charge me for repairs because they said it would be better to buy a new computer. Revain won't do anything about it. They have stopped selling this item for any reason. They have NEVER contacted me to recall the product. Don't buy anything from Amazon Basics.
