My younger brother was recently diagnosed with a type of dementia that disrupts normal life in a number of ways. His wife's research showed that music can be helpful for folks such as he. The question became: What device could we use t hat would let my brother choose what he wanted to wanted to listen to. Echo/Alexa was up there but unfortunately, he is not able to deliver the simple voice command that Alexa needs. My hope, then, was to program this radio to deliver the streaming music he loved.Several hours working with it indicated that it would and could do so very well. The problem was it was just difficult enough that I don't think he could have easily used it, thus it was returned. If I was looking for a streaming device, this would be it -- over my iPhone, computer or iPad. This radio seemed to be the best option but sadly, it was just a shade too difficult for him to use.The build quality and functionality were excellent. Sound was excellent as well. It hooked up with my WiFi network effortlessly and if it were for me, it would have been perfect. But for my brother, it was just a bit too complicated. Still, I heartily recommend it.
